Backstory:
Ozzie Albies founded this organization in 2002 to protect and promote animal care. Growing up in Curacao, Albies saw many pets living on the street, through this organization he has tried and learned how to give shelter animals the best life they can live.
Purpose:
The Ozzie Albies Foundation, a 501 C-3 non-profit organization founded by Ozzie Albies who is currently the Atlanta Braves second basemen, serves to facilitate the adoption of shelter pets. This foundation supports shelters and rescues.
This non-profit helps animals in shelters so they are not euthanized simply because they do not have a home. The volunteers there help promote the animals and find them their forever home.
