This foundation, started by Tiger Woods and his father, Earl Woods, creates community-based programs and try to improve the education and welfare of children.
According to the TGR Foundation’s website, “Our mission is to empower students to pursue their passions through education.” The TGR Foundation strives to help children in under-resourced communities and they try to help the children receive the education they deserve. The foundation provides opportunities including college-access resources and STEM-based coursework.
The foundation has reached over two million students over just 25 years of service. The foundation is supported by TGR Live events, which are golf charity events that help raise money for the foundation to continue their hard work.
Because of the generation donations and the hard work put in by everyone who is a part of the TGR Foundation, they are able to help under-resourced communities, and they help children receive education and opportunities that will help them for their future.
